Ukrainian investor Maksym Krippa’s name is associated with the circle of the most active leaders in the real estate market. The businessman has invested over $100 million in Ukraine in just the past two years, demonstrating his support during an economic crisis.

However, his interests go far beyond real estate — they also include esports, video game development, and charitable support for the Defense Forces.

What does Maksym Krippa own?

Krippa’s main business assets are iconic properties in the capital — the Parus business center and the Hotel Ukraina. His company submitted the highest bid of UAH 3 billion for the hotel during a public auction. The Parus business center was acquired after lengthy negotiations and under the close supervision of regulators. The legitimacy of the funds was confirmed, taxes were paid, and the Antimonopoly Committee formally approved the purchase.

Maksym Krippa also owns a luxury estate in Kozyn, which cost him over UAH 311 million. The entrepreneur plans to turn the property into an exclusive residence or a private training base for NAVI, his esports brand.

This year, Maksym Krippa announced a partnership with the developer DIM, which will allow the resumption and timely completion of construction projects in Kyiv, benefiting investors.

Maincast and the company behind S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

The businessman pays significant attention to Ukrainian esports. His investment in Maincast helped launch a large-scale effort to promote Ukrainian culture globally. In 2022, he took complete control of NAVI. His involvement goes beyond team sponsorship — his goal is to build a world-class infrastructure and elevate Ukrainian teams to the top of the global esports scene.

Another highly successful move by the investor was acquiring the GSC Game World studio in 2023. This paved the way for the long-awaited release of the second part of the legendary game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on November 20, 2024. Since 2022, he has also owned the renowned esports organization NAVI, which represents Ukraine in numerous disciplines.

Steps to Success

In an interview with Forbes, Maksym Krippa shared how he earned his first million. A key source of early profit was cooperation with the telecom company Kyivstar in the 2000s, followed by trading and real estate ventures. In 2016, he moved to the United Arab Emirates. At that time, the market was experiencing a downturn, and Krippa managed to acquire properties at significantly reduced prices. Today, his portfolio includes over 100,000 square meters of office and residential real estate, including land plots near Dubai Mall.

Still, Krippa’s core interests remain in Ukraine. He wants to prove that the country is a place for investment and a center of innovation and breakthrough ideas.
